The journey in Myanmar was not like I expected it to be. People there feel much more comfortable with tourists than in other countries I have traveled through. That's why taking photos required the most effort to get in touch with people, and a more intentional search to catch that "particular" moment. But I will return there, just to spend another day with the old women of Mindat State, trying to discover what meaning there is behind their tatoos and what story that body art wants to tell.
