The Extra-ordinary
Palermo is an out of the ordinary city. Indeed an extraordinary city. For centuries a place of intersection, where integration takes shape, and a city of contradictions where often the ugly and the beautiful meet.
It was the people which caught my curiosity, and the Ballarò Market. I never got tired of walking through the streets of Borgo Vecchio or the alleys and the open spaces where Ballarò unfolds. How many faces, how many stories that everyone would have to tell. My challenge was to reveal even a fragment of this story in an image. Thus, to discover a single expression, a gesture, a look which becomes a plot for my personal storytelling.
