A changing world
Although my journey in China has been the most comfortable one I have done, it was not simple. I think it was a matter of getting in touch: both with people and with a culture. With people because they are often wary of strangers, and building a relationship with them was difficult most of the time, and this, I think, has had consequences for my photos. And then with culture. A changing culture. Where new modern habits are replacing the old ones, not always to the satisfaction of its people. I traveled through the province of Guizhou where Miao e Dong lives, and through the province of Guangxi where fishermen along the Lijiang river use cormorants to catch their prey.
